Since I am a high school social studies teacher, my PLOs are going to relate only to social studies.

Grade 8:

Social 9

2. Learning activity:

• Introduce the class to another form/program to create picture slideshows that appears to be complex and difficult to create, but in actuality simple and quick.  Able to achieve in three easy steps.
• Allow the class to create their own 30sec clip on animoto of their own slideshow.

3. Technology used:

• Computers, laptops.

• Make any lesson come to life with audio and visual.
• Use at the beginning of the day as a ‘teaser’ for what your students can look forward to learning each day.
• Use to teach complex concepts in history, math, science, or any other subject.
• Students can display knowledge of a concept using Animoto.
• A beginning of the year get to know you activity.
• Students can each create an Animoto showcasing who they are through pictures and music.
• Digital storytelling.
• Students can create videos from school and continue working on them at home. The ability to download videos is outstanding … students could save their work for offline viewing too!
